It is the policy of EPCSAR that all equipment or material which is owned by or entrusted to EPCSAR can be used only for EPCSAR operations and for scheduled training. No EPCSAR equipment or material shall be used by any individual member or group of members, for personal or recreational purposes.
All equipment leaving the vehicles for missions or training must be checked out and checked back in when returned. If you notice that any equipment is damaged or needs repair, immediately bring it to the attention of the person in charge and the equipment committee chairman.
Each team member should know the operation, uses, weaknesses and limitations of all equipment which might be used in the course of a mission or training. The proper use of all team equipment will be taught during training.
