When you return to staging, check in so that Command will know you have returned safely. Once the subject has been returned to mission base, the mission is not over. Gear needs to be inspected and repacked, and the vehicles restored to mission readiness. Generally, nobody will leave mission base until everyone is out of the field in case additional help is needed. If you absolutely must leave, be sure to check out.
After the mission, members will sometimes go out for some food or to just relax (decompress). Watch your behavior; the public will be watching you. Be careful of what you say about missions, especially the colorful details of someone’s behavior. Be particularly aware of what you say and do when wearing clothing that identifies you as a member of EPCSAR.
